Food is good, very solid sushi spot. They read the comments and everything was delivered correctly and timely. Delivery person was friendly. Very clean inside too, would deff order again!

This is a great place to order from, however its a little too pricy.
Came before time- and trust me the veggie sushi options were great too. I will definitely order from here again.

Hard to complain about anything. Food is delicious and the quality of the fish is very good for what it is. Have ordered from this place 4-5 times and it's always been great.

I asked for a Maki Roll (Seaweed Outside, Rice Inside) and it wasn't done, and this wasn't the first time, maybe people need to follow directions like customer want.

Very fresh and flavorful. The shumai was cooked perfectly and the udon was separated from the broth as asked so they wouldn't get soggy.

it was my first time ordering from honshu and it was a great experience! the delivery time was a lot faster than it was indicated on the website. the food got to me 20 minutes earlier! the food was also great. I ordered the chicken katsu lunch special and sushi regular lunch special. Those got me really full and i think it was a great deal! the yellow tail sushi I got was not THAT fresh, but for the price i can't complain. I would defintely order again in the near future

My fiance and I are foodies. This is the first review Ive written either here or on Yelp. Honshu is absolutely top-grade sushi. Equal to Nobu, Blue Ribbon (original location not Rock Center) etc. Wont get long-winded but they delivered early at close to closing time and the sashimi pretty much melts on your tongue. Currently the best sushi in JC hands down bar none with Komegashi coming in second.

I dream of sushi! This place is my go to for sushi. They deliver which is rare for sushi places, and they are a block away from the office. They always accommodate my weird requests since I eat clean and can't always indulge in takeout food. Even when I go there they are nice. This place definitely saves me from the monotonous meal plans I follow to stay in shape. =) thank you honshu

Being I wrote a horrible review for John's Kitchen Cafe a few days ago, I figured I write a positive review for a great restaurant that has been great and consistent in both food and service over the last 6-7 years I've lived in this neighborhood. Thank you Honshu for all the amazingly great food. I sincerely appreciate the way you run your business. BRAVO!

The sushi here is probably the best you can get for Jersey City. It's really decent and the cooked entrees are very good also. Chicken is always cooked perfectly and manages to be tender. Quality and consistency are good but with occasional lapses (rolls are sometimes not made as well but still better than any other in JC).
